The Neutral Network feature allows a provider to make its PON infrastructure available to other companies for installations and activations, while maintaining the isolation of each operation's information.
In this scenario, there are two main roles:
| Role | Description |
|---|---|
| InfraCo (Infrastructure Company) | Company that owns the PON infrastructure (OLTs, FOTBs, ONUs, and optical network). |
| Partner (ClientCo) | Company that uses InfraCo's infrastructure to serve its own customers. |
The main characteristic of the Neutral Network is that the Partner has access only to authorized infrastructure resources, without access to InfraCo's internal information.
To make it easier to visually identify contracts belonging to the Neutral Network, the Portal displays these contracts using the range:
99900000+
This identification is visual only and allows Partner contracts to be quickly distinguished from InfraCo's own contracts.
There are currently two Neutral Network operating models.
In this model, the Partner does not have its own ISP Portal.
All management is performed using InfraCo's Portal and Application.
The Partner receives a user account linked to the partner company.
This user has access only to the resources permitted for their Partner.
In the application, the user can view only:
If the user has access to the Portal, the behavior follows exactly the same concept as the permissions available for internal users.
Examples:
| Profile | Permissions |
|---|---|
| Technician | Access to the Application only |
| NOC | Can access the Portal and Application |
| Administrator | According to the permissions granted |
Regardless of the profile, the Partner user cannot view contracts or information belonging to InfraCo, having access only to contracts linked to their Partner.
When the Partner also has its own ISP Portal, it is not necessary to use InfraCo's Portal.
In this case, an integration called External Network Between Portals is used.
The Partner's Portal continues to be used normally.
Through the connection between the Portals, it is possible to:
In this model, Partner technicians do not need to switch applications or change their operational workflow.
Isolation between companies is implemented through Neutral Network associations.
The Partner has access only to authorized resources, including:
Access permissions continue to follow the profiles configured in the Portal, ensuring that each user can view only the information compatible with their role.
| Model | Portal Used | Application Used |
|---|---|---|
| Partner without an ISP Portal | InfraCo's Portal | InfraCo's Application |
| Partner with an ISP Portal | Partner's Portal | Partner's Application |
In both scenarios, information isolation is maintained, allowing each Partner to view and operate only the resources previously linked to their company.
